Uji Coba Teleconference Dhamma Pertama di Indonesia Antara Vihara Muladharma dan PATRIA Surabaya
Pada hari Sabtu, 17 Oktober 2009 pukul 19.30 WIB telah diadakan uji coba teleconference Dhamma pertama di Indonesia antara Vihara Muladharma (Samarinda) dan Patria Surabaya.
Uji coba teleconference yang dipelopori oleh saudara Sonie Halim (Vihara Muladharma) ini bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan kerja sama yang lebih erat ddengan memperkenalkan program kerja masing-masing daerah. Dalam uji coba ini dihadiri 6 orang dari PATRIA Surabaya dan JATIM serta 4 orang dari Vihara Muladharma.
Dalam uji coba kali ini, masih dilakukan trial dan eror untuk image video call agar dapat disaksikan lebih dari 1 pasang komputer. Software yang dicoba adalah Skype dan Yahoo Messenger (YM). Dengan demikian dalam uji coba ini kali ini masih bertujan untuk mencari setting yang tepat agar komunikasi jarak jauh dapat lebih efektif.
Teleconference Dhamma yang menandakan awal kerja sama jarak jauh Surabaya dan Samarinda ini, dalam rencana jangka panjangnya, dapat dikembangkan untuk kegiatan Dhammatalk, ceramah, seminar, diskusi dan lain-lain. Hal ini pun bisa dikembangkan untuk semua daerah di Indonesia agar Dhamma dapat berkembang dengan lebih pesat.

First Dhamma Teleconference Trial in Indonesia Between Vihara Muladharma and PATRIA Surabaya
On October 17th, 2009, 7.30 pm have been established first Dhamma teleconference trial in Indonesia between Vihara Muladharma and Patria Surabaya. The pioneer of this event was Sonie Halim (Vihara Muladharma) who have a purpose to establish a good closer cooperation inter regions by introducing their activities. This event have been attended by 6 persons of PATRIA Surabaya & East Java and 4 persons of PATRIA Samarinda.
In this event, it was still trial and error for video call image that have a purpose can be watched more than 1 pair computer. The software used for this are Skype and Yahoo Messenger (YM). Therefore in this trial, the person was looking for the right setting to make an effective long distance communication.
Dhamma teleconference that showed starting long distance cooperation on Surabaya and Samarinda, for the future planning, can be applied for Dhammatalk, discourse, seminar, discussion, etc. This event also can be developed for every region in Indonesia in order to make the Dhamma can have a fast development.
