On May 8, 270 members of Taiwan's sangha and 30 thousand Buddhists commemorated the birth of the Buddha at the Liberty Square in Taipei. The crowd of people was arranged to form the image of the lotus and bodhi leaves. Also present was the President of Taiwan and other members of Congress.
